"La vie en rose" was the signature song of French singer Édith Piaf. Piaf first popularized the song in 1946. The lyrics were written by Piaf and the melody of the song by "Louiguy" (Louis Gugliemi). Initially, Piaf's peers and her songwriting team did not think the song would be successful, but it became a favorite with audiences.

上一次去峇里島已經是1991年的往事，是一次印尼旅行中的一小部份，當時年紀小，跟著旅行團大概也沒什麼探索嘗新的機會，感到有點羞愧，我竟記不得太多細節。所以這次的峇里島自助行竟然有種首次到訪的期待感。

Carrying on the mood of “summer” last week, I kept thinking of Okinawa. So the music of the week must have an Okinawa mood.

In the very hot summer days, one might think of Southern All Stars. It is a Japanese super pop band, quite commonly associated with summer and ocean.

The following Southern All Stars song “愛の言霊～Spiritual Message” released in 1996 for me is very “summer”.

“Let’s dance” is a 80s classic by David Bowie. It was released as the first single from that album in 1983, and went on to become one of his biggest-selling tracks. The single was one of Bowie’s fastest selling to date, entering the UK singles chart at number five on its first week of release. Strong rhythm and bassline make people want to dance and dance with David Bowie’s signature steps.

On Monday class, one of the petit allegro exercises was the most basic steps of Mazurka --- simple steps but extremely difficult. I immediately thought of the amazing Mazurka done by a group of little girls and boys in Paquita.
